ILLIES China wins multi-million Euro order

After several years of thorough preparation, ILLIES China has won a multi-million Euro order to deliver a turnkey project to one of China’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

This new project in the Yangtze River Delta will include comprehensive facilities, such as analytical laboratories, climate-controlled warehouses, and state-of-the-art production lines. Specifically, ILLIES will implement a complete production line for bulk vials under isolator technology – from washing and sterilization to filling, stoppering and capping.

As one of the most competitive pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) in China, our customer had strict requirements with regard to product quality and production stability.

Combining competencies for best results

With renowned machine manufacturers Groninger and Franz Ziel, ILLIES was able to offer two German pharmaceutical brands with a long track record of world-class quality and innovation, offering the most advanced filling and protective isolation technologies.

ILLIES China will leverage its local industry experience and dedicated project management to ensure smooth progress from development to delivery, providing a comprehensive package of on-site technical support, negotiations and technology harmonization, plant design, equipment importation, machinery installation and technical training.

Our project team comprises experienced sales engineers that know the industry inside-out, technical experts with strong specialized skill sets, strong international logistics and top-end after-sales service personnel. Last but not least the whole team is closely supported by the pharmaceutical expertise of the ILLIES support office in Hamburg, Germany.

Meeting global challenges as a team

When the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic prevented German engineers from entering China, the salespeople, technicians and management of ILLIES China’s all stepped up to keep the project moving forward smoothly. Despite many challenges, technical as well as commercial details were continuously finetuned through a combination of remote support and hands-on assistance.

For this reason, the staff at customer’s end have expressed their thanks many times:

All through the pandemic, ILLIES team kept providing top-notch service, for which we are truly grateful. In this collaboration, they have shown us the professional spirit and specialized know-how of a 160-year-old international expertise as technological and commercial service provider. This is our first collaboration and certainly not our last.
