Record number of visitors at Formnext 2018 in Frankfurt

This year the leading global exhibition and conference on additive manufacturing and the next generation of intelligent industrial production (Formnext) in Frankfurt, Germany, registered a record number of visitors. The event attracted thousands of attendees, who were excited to see all latest developments in additive manufacturing and exhibited 3D printed products.

One of the highlights was the world first fully 3D printed e-motorcycle NERA by Marco Mattia Cristofori with Maximilian Sedlak (NOWLAB). Parts such as tires, rims, frame, fork and seat were completely 3D printed with the 3D printer of the German leading company for 3D printing BigRep.

ILLIES proudly represents BigRep and promotes their 3D printing technology on the Japanese market. During the trade fair our representatives from Hamburg and Tokyo informed themselves in detail about the latest trends in 3D printing.
