Innovative solutions for changing market demands

In times of crisis, cooperation is the key to creating innovative solutions for changing market demands: ILLIES Japan (K.K. IRISU) is utilizing its additive manufacturing showroom in Tokyo to provide solutions for issues created by the pandemic.

Our partner MATERIALISE provided the CAD file for a hands-free door handle, which is being printed on 3D printers of Roboze, BigRep & Markforged in our showroom.

The door handle allows the opening of a door using the elbow, which minimizes the risk of an indirect contact infection. Regarding changes in the way, we handle germs from now on, this type of application will be essential, especially in working environments.

ILLIES Japan has already installed them in its offices in Tokyo and Osaka as well as Nagoya additionally providing them to customers and partners in need.

Let us face the challenges together! We will continue to focus on supporting our partners and remain at your side with our services.
