During the seven days of the trade fair, most of our textile experts – over 30 colleagues from Germany and our Asian subsidiaries – were working intensively around the clock to accompany and consult our customers and partners from Asia. Important meetings, advising services during machinery presentations and talks with leading machinery manufacturers were only few of the daily tasks for the members of the ILLIES-team. The efforts led to the successful closing of several contracts at ITMA Barcelona. With this strong commitment, ILLIES once again strengthened its relationships with the textile machinery manufacturers.

In general, ITMA Barcelona 2019 was dedicated to all topics related to Sustainable Innovation and Green Production Processes. At several side events and seminars, interesting insights into the challenges and opportunities in the development of global dyeing, printing and finishing industries were shared by leading machinery manufacturers. “Smart” machinery linked to quick data analysis tools was presented by many companies. These cutting-edge developments together with other advanced machinery features should help the textile industry to achieve the required level of green production and environmentally clean fabrics.
